Work and Play in Northeast PA was developed through the PA Stay Invent the Future program and funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. As part of this program, over forty agencies representing the seven counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania have joined together to provide you with information on career opportunities and the quality life experience that can be enjoyed in this area.

The WorkNEPA component was added to link Northeastern Pennsylvania employers with qualified job applicants. This feature was funded in part by a Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeast Pa Community Grant, contributions from many of the original 40 economic development partners, and the Northeast Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center. Overall project management was provided by the Great Valley Technology Institute.

A considerable amount of in-kind support was contributed towards this project from a number of organizations, particularly, Infinity Technology Group, Penn's Northeast, Northeast Pennsylvania Alliance, Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry, Unreal Webs, GUARD Insurance Group, and WVIA.
