This position will be responsible for
designs and drafts primarily structural engineering projects, working with others such as Engineers, Architects, Designers, to complete various projects.
•Designs and lays out engineering drawings performing structural drafting and design as needed.
•Develops faming plans and cuts sections and details.
•Experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
•Familiarity with the design requirements for steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures.
•May help prepare quantity and cost estimates.
•May assist in the preparation of studies, doing drawing or sketching as required.
•May have responsibility for project submission.
An Associate Degree and 8-10 years related structural designing/drafting experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience should include proficiency with CAD software.
